The Backyard Gate
Today I opened the backyard gate. There are two witnesses, Mom and Jeff. They walked thru the gate, then Mom closed it and mentioned to Jeff that she was concerned that I had figured out how to open it. So, to make her look good, I opened it right then! I just lifted the latch with my nose and pushed the gate open and trotted right thru. I was very pleased with myself. Jeff was extremely impressed but Mom didn't look happy. While it proves (again) that I am a clever dog; Mom thinks it might indicate that I could find my way into trouble. So she got a couple of bungie cords and tied up the gate real tight.
